Chhauni Children’s Academy (fondly known as Chhauni or CCA) was founded on 15th March 1989 by Kumaon Naresh, Raja Sri K.C. Singh (Ex. Their dream finally took shape when the royal family decided to turn their Fort in Kashipur into school. The school has done an exponential growth ever since and are now affiliated to CBSE (Delhi) upto 10+2.

Chhauni is one of the oldest schools in town with one of the largest campus that includes a football field, cricket ground, basketball, volleyball & badminton courts, khokho field spread in about 9+ acres amidst the heart of the city. The school campus is a fascinating old fort of the former rulers of Kumaun, which in itself upholding a cultural heritage value.

The school motto “Na hi gyanen sahansh pavatramahi vishadete” is a metaphor of “There is nothing as sublime (pure) as knowledge” and the school follows it to the core. We believe in preparing our students to face new and upcoming challenges of the 21st century & to boast their inherent talent.
